At Saffer Plumbing and Electric, we believe very strongly in the importance of constant training. Our dedication to Outstanding Customer Service starts on day 1 for any new employee. Each technician and apprentice receives no less than 1 month of in-house and on-site training before heading into the field. By the time a new hire enters a customer's home, they are taught what it means to be a trusted professional in the plumbing and electrical trades. For far too long, the trades have been thought of as a laborer position that required very little attention to the importance of customer service. At Saffer, we have been dedicated for generations to change that mindset. In order to do just that, we have built an in-house Training Center that provides endless product knowledge on a variety of things such as faucets, tankless and tanked water heaters, cast iron and condensing boilers, water treatment and filtration and a full mock bathroom for all of our employees to gain hands on education. For our electrical staff, this area allows for panel and sub-panel training, outlets, switches and Home Automation training. The Training Center also doubles as our classroom which we use for Code Review Classes, Bi-Weekly Meetings, and Backflow Certification Programs. With 6 Master Plumbers and 1 Master Electrician on staff at Saffer, every employee has the ability to reach out to one another to find the correct solution to any of our clients concerns. Again, at Saffer Plumbing and Electric, we know the importance of making sure our customers receive professional, quality service while our technicians are as prepared as possible to provide that service.
